The winners of the contest were George and Tammy of Maui. On January 8,
2007 George was diagnosed with cancer. It was the hopes of the sponsors
and the Association that he would still be feeling good enough for his
wedding on July 22nd. Sunday, July 19th, 2009, George lost his fight
against cancer and passed away. We are all very sorry for his family
and especially for Tammy´s loss.
It has now been confirmed that the ceremony that would have been for
George and Tammy's wedding, now be a Memorial Ceremony as a
"Celebration of Life" for George. All the planned vendors for the
wedding will continue to provide their services for the Memorial. The
Memorial will take place on July 22nd at the time and place originally
planned for the wedding, click on the logo above for a complete list of
the generous vendors on Maui. Our hearts and thoughts are with George´s
family, friends, and especially for his wife Tammy and her family.
